At Donald Trump’s direction, Florida Republicans are rushing to redraw congressional district lines years before the next census in a blatant attempt to rig the rules and steal seats ahead of the 2026 midterms.

They’ve already tried it in Texas and North Carolina. If they succeed in Florida, more Republican-led states will follow.

Florida Democrats are preparing an unprecedented legal and organizing fight to protect fair representation and defend the right to vote, but they can’t do it alone.
