John, I never thought I’d have to write an email like this. But right now in Virginia, politicians are working to redraw me — and my voters — out of existence.
Five years ago, Virginians passed a constitutional amendment to take politics out of redistricting. It was supposed to be settled law.
Now, a partisan majority wants to rewrite the rules mid-decade — simply because they don’t like the current map.
It’s wrong, plain and simple. And if it can happen here, it can happen anywhere.
