Overnight, an Israeli strike turned my family's home in Gaza into a graveyard
By Yousef
On Sept. 27, AFSC's Yousef woke up one morning to learn that a missile, fired by the Israeli military, had hit his family home in Gaza. Nine of his family members were killed. In this essay, Yousef mourns this unimaginable loss and envisions a more just, peaceful future for his family and for all Palestinians. Yousef writes: “In that world, I imagine my family living in a place where we celebrate their lives rather than their memories.” Read more. (Middle East Eye)
