Good evening, John!
Team Cooper here. Wherever you are, we hope you had a safe, warm, and restful Thanksgiving.
This holiday, it was our pleasure to spotlight the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina as they do important work to keep folks from going hungry — especially around the holidays. If you made a donation or volunteered your time, thank you.
Keep reading for some updates from the campaign trail. Think of it like a digital scrapbook of the last 30-ish days, from us to you! 👇
ROY ON THE ROAD

Roy hears it from North Carolinians everywhere he goes — people are struggling because there’s too much month at the end of the money. MAGA Republicans have pushed food prices through the roof. Folks who work for a living are paying for it while billionaires get another tax break. Roy’s running to change that.
Roy spoke about affordability at the grocery store, health care costs, what it takes to win in North Carolina, and more with MeidasTouch — watch the full interview here!

It was a true honor for our campaign to spend Veterans Day in Fayetteville with the brave men and women who have served this country. We owe them a deep debt of gratitude.
HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY, NC MEDICAID EXPANSION! 🎂

Two years ago, Roy’s administration did what everyone said was impossible: Expanded Medicaid.
It was a decade-long battle that was well worth it to get quality, affordable health care to more than 690,000 North Carolinians. Roy worked with everyone — Republicans and Democrats alike — to get it done.

Medicaid Expansion helped hardworking North Carolinians across the state access care and stay healthy, particularly in rural areas.
Now, that progress is at risk. Extreme DC Republicans like Michael Whatley are trying to rip away health care from millions of people. Roy is running to stop them.

GOOD NEWS: MEDICAL DEBT RELIEF SHATTERS EXPECTATIONS 📈
It’s a pleasure to share some more good news with you: Thanks to the Medical Debt Relief Program that Governor Cooper signed into law, North Carolina has erased more than $6.5 billion in medical debt for more than 2.5 million North Carolinians (and counting)!
This is well beyond the initial projections, and it’s why, as governor, Roy put this plan into action. Making everyday life easier and more affordable for North Carolinians is always the top priority.
MAGA MICHAEL MISSES THE MARK ❌

Michael Whatley claims grocery prices are down. He obviously hasn’t been in a Harris Teeter, a Food Lion, or an Ingles lately! NC deserves a Senator who’ll tell you the truth — not parrot MAGA Republican talking points

THE MERCH STORE IS OPEN!

We launched our campaign store just in time for the holidays. If you want to give some Cooper for North Carolina gifts this holiday season, get them here! (Place your order for standard items by 12/8 to receive it in time for Christmas!)
That’s all for now. See you again next time!
