4 Senators in battleground states announced they’re retiring.

Democrats Gary Peters (MI), Jeanne Shaheen (NH), and Tina Smith (MN), as well as Republican Thom Tillis (NC), aren’t seeking re-election next year.

3 Democrats were added to our 2026 Candidate Fund.

Blue Senate is committed to defending Jon Ossoff’s seat in Georgia and flipping key seats in Ohio and North Carolina by electing Sherrod Brown and Roy Cooper.

The GOP’s unpopularity has put new battlegrounds in play.

North Carolina, Ohio, Maine, Texas, Florida, and Iowa highlight a long list of difficult — but not impossible — Democratic pickup opportunities.
