Now Kathy Hochul and radical communist Zohran Mamdani are teaming up to push a scheme that will strangle housing supply and drive rents even higher.

This plan will choke investment, stall sales, and shrink the number of available apartments. That means higher costs for working families and fewer options for anyone trying to find a place to live.

Mamdani is calling it a rent freeze. In reality, it is a slow-motion collapse. When landlords cannot cover rising expenses, buildings deteriorate and owners flee the market. Fewer homes get built. The units that remain become even more unaffordable.
