Recent headlines from City Journal ([link removed]) underscore exactly why I’m running for Governor — because the people of Minnesota deserve a state government that stands for the builders, not the takers.

Their investigation into how millions in welfare payments — intended for seniors, the disabled, and the vulnerable — were allegedly funneled through informal money‑trading networks and ended up supporting a foreign terror organization is deeply worrying. When a program meant to uplift Minnesotans becomes a conduit for abuse and exploitation, something has gone terribly wrong. That starts with public policy — and it ends with accountability and reform.

As Governor, I will work to root out fraud, restore integrity and dignity to our social safety net, and ensure that taxpayer dollars serve those who truly need them — not criminal enterprises or foreign causes. Minnesota must be a place where hard work and honest effort are rewarded, not taken advantage of.
