Hello,

For millions of Americans living in rural communities, local hospitals are lifelines—providing emergency care, routine treatments, and specialized services. Still, as Corinne Brown’s story shows, rural communities all too often face losses of specialty services or hospital closures.

“This must be fixed,” Corinne notes. Rural hospitals are often the only sites of care that provide 24/7 access to emergency and specialized services. Americans deserve access to care, no matter where they live.

The Coalition is collecting stories to show Congress why protecting rural hospitals matters.
