Your Intentions for Five Holy Masses Invoking the Blessed Virgin
Mary Dec. 8-12

Dear Friend,
On Monday, December 8, the Church
will celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the
Blessed Virgin Mary, a Holy Day of Obligation, followed by the
December 10 Memorial of Our Lady of Loreto. Next Friday, December 12
is the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, also called the Virgin of
Guadalupe.
Have you submitted your intentions to be included in five Holy Masses from
December 8-12?
December 8th is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In the United States, it is a Holy Day of Obligation because
under that title given to Mary, as the Immaculate Conception, she was
proclaimed the Patroness of the United States.
December 10th is the Memorial Feast of Our
Lady of Loreto - Litany of
the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as the Litany of
Loreto.
December 10th is also the 100th Anniversary of the
Apparition of the Virgin Mary of Fatima, together with her Infant Son
Jesus, to the Venerable Servant of God, Sister Lúcia dos
Santos. Cardinal Burke will
offer a Holy Mass at 12:15 PM on December 10, at the Shrine of Our
Lady of Guadalupe, in La Crosse, Wisconsin. All are welcome to attend
in person. Here is the livestream link.
December 12th is the Solemnity of Our Lady of
Guadalupe, also called the Virgin of Guadalupe and the
Patroness of the Americas. Cardinal Burke will offer a Holy Mass at
1:00 PM on December 12, at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, in La
Crosse, Wisconsin. All are welcome to attend in person. Here is the livestream link.
Entrust all of your petitions to
the Holy and Pure Virgin Mary, who will never abandon us, for she is
our Mother!
Let us invoke the Blessed Mother
to:
~ Sweep our country clean from
pornography, illicit, unnatural and impure acts of lust, and to fill
every citizen’s heart with a desire for modesty and to live morally -
not only in the clothing worn but also in the foul language spoken so
frequently in daily conversations.
~ Enlighten families to consider
consecrating or entrusting their new born child to Our Lady. A child
consecrated to the Mother of God will have her special maternal
protection throughout life and at the hour of death.
May the Blessed Virgin Mary, who
leads us to the tender mercy of God, continue to assist us in all our
necessities and especially for the needs of Cardinal
Burke.
Don’t forget to submit
your intentions for the five Holy Masses from Dec. 8 – Dec.
12.
Yours in the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
