James,
Public media stations across the country are shutting down, victims of historic defunding by Trump and Congress.

KWSU-TV, one of the oldest public-media stations in the Pacific Northwest, and NJ PBS, New Jersey's only public-television station, announced plans to close their doors. And unless we act, they won't be the last. 115+ public radio and TV stations nationwide are at risk of shutting down if we don't do something – and fast.
Right now, the Senate is working on its 2026 budget and can RESTORE funding for public media. But it's going to take a MASSIVE public outcry to force them to do it.
Click here to email your lawmakers NOW and demand they include funding for public media in the 2026 appropriations process!
Public media is a community lifeline – built for everyone, regardless of zip code, wallet size, or background. For millions of Americans – especially in rural and Tribal areas – these are the only local outlets for news, learning, and emergency alerts.
But as Trump looks to hand full control of the media to his oligarch friends, he slashed funding for NPR and PBS – forcing layoffs, killing local shows, and risking total shutdowns where stations can't survive without federal help.
It's not too late to reverse course, but Congress is racing to finish the budget by January. Which gives us just weeks to flood Congress with our demands. Our Revolution is ready to deliver our voices straight to Congress in these crucial moments, but first we need to come together in massive numbers to show that our public outrage cannot be ignored.
We CANNOT let Trump and his oligarchs get away with silencing our public media for their own gain. ACT NOW and tell Congress to restore public media funding in the 2026 budget before more communities are left in the dark.
When we organize, we win.
