Dear John,
We’re running out of time. We have until Tuesday to earn £52,000 – vital funds for climate justice. If we don’t meet the target, we could lose thousands in unmatched funding.
If you want to support climate justice, now is the best time to give. Every donation will be doubled, but only for a few days.
I'LL DOUBLE MY DONATION ( [link removed] )
This is a crucial moment. The big polluters most responsible for driving the climate crisis must pay their fair share. That’s what we’re campaigning for, but we can’t do that without donations from people like you.
The Big Give Green Christmas Challenge doubles everything you give, for free. But only until 12pm Tuesday 9 December. That’s under a week to reach our target of £148,000. And to secure the future of our call for climate justice.
Please give today ( [link removed] ) if you can. If you've already given – thank you.
Thank you for your support.

Our Big Give Christmas Challenge is now live and we urgently need your support. We aim to raise £148,000 to supercharge our campaign to make big polluters pay for the damage they’ve caused to people and planet.
This is a crucial moment. From now until midday on Tuesday 9 December, every donation you make will be DOUBLED. That means your support will go twice as far in powering the bold, strategic campaigning we and our planet desperately need.
This is an extraordinary chance to help ensure climate justice – at no extra cost to you. Can you support our movement today?
Every pound you donate this week will be doubled by the Big Give. That means if you:
DONATE £15, IT'LL BE DOUBLED TO £30 ( [link removed] )
DONATE £25, IT'LL BE DOUBLED TO £50 ( [link removed] )
DONATE £50, IT'LL BE DOUBLED TO £100 ( [link removed] )
With the help of supporters like you, we’ve already changed the course of history before. Back in 2008, our Big Ask campaign helped secure the world’s first climate law – the Climate Change Act – forcing the UK government to create a legally binding plan to cut carbon emissions.
When previous governments failed to follow that law, we took them to court and won. Twice. Those legal victories forced the current government to publish a new climate plan in October.
But while this new plan is stronger than previous ones, it’s still not enough. It leans too heavily on unproven technologies and fails to tackle the deep inequalities that leave lower-income households struggling to switch to cleaner, greener alternatives. It’s a step forward – but not the breakthrough we urgently require.
That’s why our work can’t stop now. In fact, it must accelerate.
Your donation today – which will get doubled by the Big Give for free – will help fund:
our demand that big polluters most responsible for the climate crisis (and most able to afford higher taxes) pay their fair share, to fund the action laid out in the government’s new climate plan.our legal work to hold the government to account, ensuring climate promises turn into genuine climate action.the mobilising of thousands of supporters in over 230 local groups across the UK to raise public awareness and demand climate action in their communities.
To make this happen, we need to build pressure like never before. But this all comes at a cost. So please donate to our Big Give Christmas Challenge to power our campaign today.
I'LL CHIP IN ( [link removed] )
Please give today and double your impact.
Thank you for your support.
