JOHN,

The U.S. Supreme Court just cleared the way for Texas to use a racially gerrymandered congressional map — a map that will help Donald Trump and Greg Abbott try to steal five congressional seats, including the one I’m running to represent: TX-09.

The lower court already found this map was likely unconstitutional — drawn with the specific intent of diluting the voices of Black and Latino voters. But Trump’s allies fast-tracked their appeal, and the Supreme Court just handed them exactly what they wanted.

Trump and Abbott are doing everything they can to lock in minority rule. The Supreme Court is helping them do it. And unless we fight back with everything we’ve got, they might get away with it.

That’s why I’m running for Congress in TX-09. And I need you with me now.
