And while we didn’t meet our goal, we came so close—raising $24,412 total, which is just $588 short of our target.
We didn’t receive any offers to match gifts for this particular campaign, so I won’t lie to you and say that there are extra funds waiting to be “unlocked” if we meet our goal. But, Evergreen still sets fundraising goals because they represent the real work ahead. And if we don’t meet those goals, we’ll have to scale back our plans to fuel advocacy, amplify diverse voices, and build broad, cross-movement solidarity that will define what's possible for our clean energy future.
So, when we say that generosity helps us make climate action unstoppable, we mean it! Every contribution ensures we can keep up the fight against fossil fuel giants, defend bold state-level climate policies, launch targeted campaigns to expand affordable clean energy like wind and solar, and bring more people into this movement.
