The GOP wants a national abortion ban. That’s no secret. But what you may not know is that Mike Rounds is willing to do anything to make it happen.

Back when Rounds was governor, he signed a near-TOTAL statewide abortion ban designed to challenge Roe v. Wade at a time when it was still the law of the land.

South Dakotans stood up, gathered signatures, and voted in a statewide referendum to reject his draconian ban.

We cannot afford to go back in time. I refuse to allow us to go back in time. We need leaders who trust women, respect their medical decisions, and defend our rights. So that’s why I’m running for Senate: to stand for South Dakotans who believe in choice, fairness, and personal freedom.

I believe in a woman’s right to make her own medical decisions with her doctor. I support the right to choose in line with Roe, and I’ll fight to protect that right in the Senate — no matter what.
