Without our support, these teams may have to pause the basic work that makes recruitment possible:

* Texting the teacher, the parent, or neighbor who’s active in the community to ask them to run
* Renting space in a coffee shop to host candidate Q&A sessions
* Buying the name tags and snacks that help a nervous first-time candidate feel welcome

These aren’t nice-to-haves. They’re what turn an empty space on a ballot into a strong Democratic candidate.
