If every House district in the country shifted left by this same amount as Tuesday’s massive Democratic swing in the Tennessee Special election — about 15 points — we would be looking at a blue wave far larger than 2018.

To prepare for this, Trump is escalating his redistricting arms race to shore up the GOP majority and steal the upcoming 2026 midterms.

Which is why this week it was announced that Florida Gov. Ron Desantis will eliminate the majority of Florida’s Democratic congressional seats.

And even more states plan to follow Florida’s lead.

Do the math — if every red state redistricts, the numbers show Democrats never winning the House again. MAGA will successfully enshrine one party rule before voters head to the polls next November.

The only way our party survives this is if Democrats carry out redistricting in every blue state where we are able to. However, Trump pursued this policy under the assumption that we wouldn’t have the stomach to fight him on this. So far, with the exception of California and Virginia, his instincts have been correct.

But our fate isn’t written in stone, yet… are we going to accept permanent MAGA rule as our new reality or are we going to fight back?
