As we approach America's 250th anniversary, the legacy we leave is in our hands...

Dear John,

Thank you for standing with us on Giving Tuesday! Because of faithful partners like you, we're making an impact that will echo into eternity.

Your generous support is already making a difference in our nation's capital and across the country. But as we approach the end of 2025 and America's 250th anniversary is just weeks away, I have to ask you an important question:

What kind of America do you want? What kind of America will we pass on to our children?

When our Founding Fathers gathered in Philadelphia in 1776, they pledged "their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor" to establish a nation unlike any the world had ever seen. They understood they were building something that would outlast them -- a legacy of freedom, faith, and virtue that could be passed down through the generations.

Now, nearly two and a half centuries later, continuing that legacy of freedom built upon the Christian faith is in our hands.

I don't need to tell you that we're living through unprecedented times. The attacks on religious freedom, the assault on the family, the aggressive push to confuse our children about the most basic truths of human nature -- these challenges would have been unthinkable to previous generations of Americans.

I wish I could tell you that if we win this battle or that battle that we could claim a permanent victory in the fight for America's future, but that's not possible. Evil will never wave a white flag -- nor will we!

But here's what gives me hope: I've seen what happens when faithful believers refuse to be silent. When we stand together, we keep the Founders' vision for America alive for future generations.

That's exactly what Family Research Council has been doing for more than four decades. And with God's grace and your continued partnership, we're not finished yet.

Thanks to a group of generous donors, every gift you send before December 31st will be DOUBLED through our special $2 Million Challenge Match! And as a thank you for your gift, we'll send you a selection of patriotic items to celebrate America's 250th anniversary

As we enter this historic year, will you stand with us?

This is our moment.

As we look toward America's semiquincentennial -- its 250th birthday just months from now -- we have an extraordinary opportunity. This milestone will spark a national conversation about who we are as a people and what principles should guide us into the future.

The question is: Who will shape that conversation?

Will it be the radical activists like New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani who want to erase the Christian faith from public life and think "there is no problem too big that government can't handle?"

Or will it be people of faith and conviction who understand that America's greatness has always flowed, not from the size and authority of its government, but from our government's recognition of biblical values and God-given rights?

At Family Research Council, we're determined to seize this moment to help restore and renew our nation's commitment to the founding principles that have enabled us to reach this milestone of 250 years. We're planning to:

  • Educate millions of Americans about the Christian principles woven into our nation's founding and why they remain essential today.
  • Advocate for policies on Capitol Hill that protect religious freedom, defend the sanctity of human life, and strengthen families.
  • Equip pastors and church leaders to speak biblical truth with courage and clarity on the issues that matter most.
  • Mobilize voters to elect leaders in the 2026 midterm elections who will honor our nation's heritage and defend our constitutional freedoms.

This is work that can't wait. Every day, we're engaged in battles that will determine what kind of country we become. From defending parental rights against government overreach to protecting children from harmful ideologies, from advocating for pro-life policies that protect the unborn to standing with Christians who face discrimination simply for living out their faith -- these fights are happening right now.

The question is: Will you stand with us in these battles?

Every dollar you give will be DOUBLED and put to work immediately in the battles we're already fighting -- and help prepare for the opportunities ahead.

YES - DOUBLE MY GIFT TODAY

I often think about the generations who came before us -- the patriots who fought for independence, the reformers who ended slavery, the believers who built churches and schools and hospitals across this land, the parents and grandparents who sacrificed so their children could have better lives.

They didn't have to do what they did. They could have remained silent. But they chose to fight for something greater than themselves.

Now it's our turn. What will we leave behind?

When the United States celebrates its 300th anniversary -- if the Lord tarries -- what kind of nation will it be? Will it still be a place where religious freedom is cherished, where human life is protected, where families can thrive, where children are safe?

That depends on what we do now.

I'll be honest with you: the challenges ahead are significant. The other side is well-funded, highly organized, and absolutely committed to transforming America into something our Founders would not recognize.

But I know something they refuse to acknowledge: We serve the Creator, the all-powerful God who works through His people.

And when His people stand together in faith, mountains move.
