WEEKLY NEWS // DECEMBER 4, 2025 Dear Community, As we enter this season of generosity and reflection, I invite you to stand with the Women’s Funding Network as we continue building a world where gender justice is fully funded and deeply felt. Across our network, we’ve seen the power of collective action and shared purpose: Local to Global Connections — Through the Global Leadership Forum, we are strengthening the leadership and visibility of feminist changemakers around the world. Collective Power in Philanthropy — At Feminist Funded ’25, we witnessed what happens when movement leaders, funders, and advocates come together to advance gender justice through courage, collaboration, and care. By the numbers, 84% of participants built new connections that are already sparking cross-movement collaboration.
40 Years Strong, Future Focused — With the release of Shared Values, Shared Practice, the launch of DataWoven, and the continued growth of the Just Rise Fund, WFN is transforming the way resources flow to those creating lasting change. Your support makes all of this possible. Every gift — at any level — strengthens our network, amplifies women’s funds, and fuels the movement for equity and liberation. If you feel inspired to help sustain this momentum during this season of giving, I warmly invite you to join as a member, contribute today, or reach out to explore how you can deepen your engagement with WFN. MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENTSThe Women’s Foundation California released its 2025 Annual Report. The report shares more than numbers—it also shares a story of resilience, creativity, and collective courage. NewMexicoWomen.Org has presented The Landscape of Gender Justice in New Mexico: 2025 Status Report, its latest research produced with the UNM Center for Social Policy. This report is designed to guide long-term, community-rooted investments in the well-being, safety, and power of women, girls, and LGBTQ+ New Mexicans. At a time when data and research are being erased or defunded, this report seeks to equip advocates, organizers, policymakers, and funders with critical data and policy recommendations to guide future investment in gender justice. The New Hampshire Women’s Foundation has presented its fourth edition of its flagship publication, The Status of Women in New Hampshire 2025, the most comprehensive compilation of data on women in the state. This report includes 83 indicators of New Hampshire women’s well-being in health, safety, economic security, and leadership. The data highlight a hardworking, resilient, and diversifying population of women. However, the data also enumerates many social, economic, and political barriers facing women and compounding inequities by race, ethnicity, geography, age, and parenting status. These barriers and inequities present opportunities for New Hampshire to invest in women for a more vibrant and prosperous future. The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio has announced a major new partnership with Action for Children focused on strengthening the child care workforce and boosting the local economy. Many child care workers own their own business, and this grant will enable them to sustain this critical work.
