YOU can remind people who pays the industrial carbon tax.
It’s back in the news because Prime Minister Mark Carney made a deal with Alberta that he would think about a pipeline if the province starts charging an industrial carbon tax.
Carney promised to “tighten” the industrial carbon tax and he said he wants it to be “six times” higher. And he wants to make sure all Canadians are paying it.
Here’s the key: Politicians think Canadians won’t notice.
Before the election, more than 70 per cent of Canadians said businesses will have to pass on some or most of the cost to consumers, according to a poll that happened because of donations from supporters like you. And that poll grabbed the media’s attention.
Now politicians seem to think Canadians have forgotten about the industrial carbon tax.
This is your chance to show whether those politicians are right or wrong.
You can commission that national polling firm to ask Canadians who will ultimately pay for the industrial carbon tax.
Politicians care about polls more than the air they breathe and new polling results reignite the media debate.
The polling firm we’re working with is one of the best so it’s going to cost about $1,200.
Will you DONATE now to commission a poll asking who really pays the industrial carbon tax?
