When I’m on the road, I talk a lot about fraud, abuse, and frivolous lawsuits in Georgia’s insurance market. 

It’s not a red meat topic, but let me explain why it matters. 

Fraud, abuse, and frivolous lawsuits mean higher costs. The insurance companies pass those costs to working families. 

Cracking down on fraud, abuse, and frivolous lawsuits gives me the tools to forcefully negotiate lower rates. 

That’s why we’ve arrested hundreds of fraudsters, gotten tough on abuse, and worked to pass real lawsuit reform. 

We’re starting to see the results, with State Farm cutting rates by 10% in the last year. More announcements should be on the way, and I’m just getting started when it comes to holding these powerful companies’ feet to the fire. 

This is about making sure Georgia is an affordable place to live, work, and raise a family.
