Team,
Pete Hegseth has to go. It's that simple.
If this feels like an old story, that's because this isn't new -- despite every warning possible, Hegseth continues to arrogantly share highly classified military plans over unsecured chats.
Every single post in these reckless group chats is another opportunity for violent, bad actors to intercept plans and catch our enlisted men and women off-guard.
How many times can he put our servicemembers lives at risk, team?
As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, and representing thousands of military personnel in our district, I am deeply offended that such stupidity is leading our armed forces, and putting our active military at significant risk.
Anyone else in a competent administration would have been fired a long time ago, and it's due time we get him there.
Whether he resigns or is fired -- Hegseth has got to go NOW. If you agree, add your name today to demand a change in the Pentagon. Our service men and women who risk their lives deserve basic professionalism from those tasked with leading them.
Our servicemembers sacrifice so much for us. It’s time we get them leadership to match their commitment.
