The candidate filing period in North Carolina officially opened this week, and I want to take a moment to talk about what’s ahead.

Democratic victories in November showed us what’s possible when we come together and fight back. But that success also means Republicans will pour heavily into districts across the country to stop Democratic momentum.

I’ve dedicated my entire career to improving life here in North Carolina. Every day in Congress, I fight for fairness, economic opportunity, and to protect the progress we’ve already made together — like expanding access to healthcare, equality, and opportunities for working families.
