Friend, NY-16’s race was just officially called for Jamaal Bowman!
As a fellow Justice Democrat also challenging an entrenched, corporate Democrat, I view today’s victory as a sign that the progressive movement isn’t just gaining momentum — we’re winning!

I went down to New York’s 16th District on their election day to help with voter outreach, and there I found many similarities to Massachusetts’ First. Both our districts have been failed by our representatives, and have felt voiceless in our federal government for over three decades.
This ends now. In 2020 we’re building change, one congressional district at a time. Jamaal’s win is a message to corporate Democrats that a new generation of leadership is here and that the Washington status quo ends with us.
