John,
Workers of every race and immigration status keep our country running — and yet the Trump administration is escalating raids that terrorize families, rip apart neighborhoods, and target people based on skin color, language, and where they work. But let’s be clear: Trump isn’t acting alone. Corporate greed is fueling this deportation machine. |
Airlines like Avelo Airlines, GlobalX Air, Eastern Airlines, and Omni Air International are making millions in profit by operating these ICE flights within the U.S. and the deportation flights that disappear our neighbors — including children and infants. This year alone, GlobalX Air has transported nearly 500 children under the age of 10 within the U.S.
On deportation flights, people are often shackled and have reported abuse while in custody. Most people in ICE custody today have no criminal history, yet they are being treated as dangerous criminals. US citizens have also been wrongfully detained and terrorized in these operations. This is a business model built on cruelty and trauma. We’re calling it out and we will not stand for it: |
- We demand airlines stop profiteering through contracts for ICE deportation flights.
- We demand an end to the unfair and inhumane treatment of detained immigrants.
- We demand the Trump administration end its ICE terror campaign and protect US constitutional rights.
|
I live near one of the busiest airports in the country. I don’t want these types of flights happening anywhere near me! But thankfully, public demands to STOP these flights are working. After workers, allies, and community members mobilized nationwide, Avelo pulled out of all flights on the West Coast and canceled operations in Maine. But this fight is far from over.
If one of us isn’t safe, none of us are safe. Demand that airline CEOs stop working with ICE. We have the power to shut down corporate complicity. We have the power to protect our communities from cruelty. We have the power to say: No more deportations for profit. |
