Hi there,

We have a critical goal of raising $10,000 from grassroots supporters before the end of the month in order to ensure we can kick off 2026 as strong as possible. Let us explain why this is so important.

With your support, in 2025, Pennsylvania voters turned out in historical numbers to retain statewide justices and judges on our appellate courts. That is what’s possible when we invest in year-round voter engagement and civic education. And we’re just getting started.

Before we share our game plan for 2026, will you consider chipping in $25 to help us keep up the momentum we gained during this November’s make-or-break judicial elections as we head into the new year?

A gift today will help support:Year-round voter engagement work. Next year will mark another critical election year. With your support, NPP can continue meeting voters where they are to ensure our centered communities stay informed and become active participants in the democratic process.

Expanded Civic Education on the State Judiciary. In 2025, NPP led the way in civic education focused on the state judiciary by hosting presentations, webinars, townhalls, and community conversations that left attendees with a better understanding of our state judiciary and how court decisions impact our daily lives. In 2026, we will continue this important judicial civic education program, with the overall goal of increasing voter participation and civic awareness of the state courts over the next few years.

Slingshot the Podcast – A New Platform for Civic Power. Earlier this year, the New Pennsylvania Project launched “Slingshot The Podcast” with limited funding. And with the recent defunding of public news, funding this podcast into 2026 is more crucial now than ever. We’re counting on grassroots supporters, like you, to help us continue to fund our podcast into 2026 – including production, editing, and uploading.

Support Future Independent Expenditure Get-Out-The-Vote Programs. As one of the few organizations that knocked on doors for the 2025 General Election, the staff of NPP knocked on more than 15,000 doors in two weeks and made phone calls to voters we helped register to vote in 2025. The outreach directly motivated voting, with several voters completing or submitting ballots because of the interaction.
With your support, we have and will continue to work to move our democracy forward. Including through year-round voter engagement, accessible civic education, and the expansion of digital platforms like Slingshot the Podcast that reach our centered communities.

None of this would be possible without grassroots support. Help us get a head start on hitting our $10,000 December fundraising goal so we can continue to engage and turn out voters in 2026 by pitching in $25 today.

Since our founding in 2021, NPP’s impact in our centered communities has inspired hope and driven us to continue building a more representative democracy that works for all Pennsylvanians.

Onward,

Team NPP

The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is a voting rights organization with a year-round primary focus on voter registration, civic education, and mobilization. NPP centers historically disenfranchised and often neglected Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth in our work. Through civic engagement, we ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth.
