Friend, words don’t do justice to how grateful I am for our incredible community of supporters. Over the past few days, you’ve heard from my colleagues and me, asking you to make a lifesaving gift for Giving Tuesday, and I am in awe of what is possible when people come together around a shared goal. This Giving Tuesday was one of the most inspiring days of the year for Project HOPE — and with sweeping cuts to humanitarian aid coupled with ongoing crises in places like Gaza and Ukraine, it came at a time when support is more critical than ever.
Project HOPE supporters are powering lifesaving care for communities where health systems are stretched to their limits so that our teams can continue to deliver medicine, clean water, mental health support, and HOPE where it’s needed most.
The response to this Giving Tuesday reminds me of why I believe so deeply in Project HOPE’s mission: No one should be left without care in times of crisis. Even through the most difficult times, people will always rise to help one another.
So, on behalf of every child, mother, and family we serve — and each doctor, nurse, and partner working in the field — thank you for standing with Project HOPE this Giving Tuesday and all year round. It truly making a difference for families and communities in crisis.
With gratitude,
