City of Ann Arbor Updates: AAPD EV Patrol Vehicle Among 1st in State -and- Winter Warming Locations

Learn More button - blue The City of Ann Arbor Police Department, with help from the Ann Arbor Office of Sustainability and Innovations, has officially put one of the state of Michigan’s first electric patrol vehicles on the road – a 2025 Chevy Blazer EV. Not only is this vehicle better for the environment, it provides the same level of quality, security and performance as its gas-powered counterparts.

Also, sharing from the Washtenaw County Office of Community & Economic Development: The county Winter Warming Shelter locations have been updated. There are daytime warming sites available in Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor through March of 2026. Check back regularly for updates and find more information at: www.bit.ly/washtenaw-warming
