'We Must Act Quickly': Hill Leaders Push for Immediate Action on Nigeria
by Suzanne Bowdey
In a country halfway across the world, Agnes remembers the song her dad taught her when she was scared. And that was most of the time. While American children can't sleep because of invisible monsters, in Nigeria, the nightmares are real life. Would tonight be the night the men attacked, burning, shooting, and killing? "In those moments," she remembers, "my dad sang to us, 'God will never forsake us. God will never abandon us. Even when there is suffering and persecution, God will never leave us.'" It is the song of millions of sons and daughters now, passed down through the years of grief - the nation's unofficial heirloom.

On David, Drug Boat Strikes, and Leaving No Survivors
by Joshua Arnold
Washington has been roiled this week by allegations that the Trump administration carried out a follow-up strike against a disabled drug boat in the Caribbean to eliminate any potential survivors. While the allegations are far from proven, they are also serious, and Christians should consider the controversy in light of the Bible's teaching that every person is made in the image of God. Even better, Christians can consider the controversy in light of a close biblical parallel, when even soon-to-be King David carried out military operations that left no survivors.

by Joshua Arnold
Nearly half of American college students agree with the notion that "words can be violence," according to a 2,000-person survey commissioned by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) in the weeks following the assassination of Charlie Kirk. While the form of the question may create confusion, it does serve to reveal one way progressivism has watered-down American ideals in American universities.
