Midnight Deadline:

TRIPLE Your Giving Tuesday Impact for Athletes Like Erin

3X Match My Gift >> [link removed]

----

I’ve been thinking about what it takes to make a moment truly count.

For athletes with intellectual disabilities (ID), it starts with someone believing in them. Your Giving Tuesday 3X match has been EXTENDED to help create those life-changing moments on and off the playing field. Give before midnight to TRIPLE your impact →

One story I always come back to is about a Special Olympics athlete named Erin and a smile from Muhammad Ali.

Erin has competed in Special Olympics for 44 years. She’s a swimmer, a bocce player, a golfer, and a leader. She served on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Colorado. She became the very FIRST Special Olympics athlete to serve as an Alpine Race Official because Erin makes history!

In 2004, Erin traveled to Ireland as one of 12 athletes selected to serve as Sargent Shriver International Global Messengers. That’s where she met Muhammad Ali. The Greatest spotted her across the athlete staging area, called her over, and greeted her with that iconic sparkle in his eye. Talk about unforgettable!

Today is your moment to show up for athletes like Erin. Give now and your donation will be 3X MATCHED by our Founding Partner, The Coca-Cola Company, to change more lives through the power of inclusive sports and communities.

Erin’s story didn’t begin with gold medals or speeches on the world stage. It began with years of being overlooked. Teachers who didn’t know how to help her. A group home that kept her quiet and over-medicated. Social services that told her she would never work or live on her own.

Erin proved everyone wrong. She has worked at United for about 25 years. She’s a favorite on the ramp crew, cheered on and looked after by teammates who always have her back. She has built a beautiful life for herself, and everyone who knows her loves her.

This sense of pride and connection is what every Special Olympics athlete deserves. Your Giving Tuesday gift will be TRIPLE MATCHED – but only until midnight! Give now to help more athletes like Erin find their confidence, their team, and their moment to shine.
