Speaking personally and as Executive Director of the Nonhuman Rights Project, I just wanted to say thank you again for your Giving Tuesday donation to the NhRP.
When I look out at the world, I see incredible injustice—animals treated like things, a justice system that fails to actually do justice.
To anyone who cares about animals, it can feel heavy, including to me sometimes.
But then I think about how our mission has the support of people like you—people who support our transformative vision and are prepared to stand with our clients, no matter the obstacles. We envision a world where animals are respected as beings, and the number of you who showed up this Giving Tuesday—who donated and shared our mission and vision—that's what gives me hope for a better future.
Your belief in our work means the world to me, to all of us here at the NhRP, and to the animals we fight for.
