Growing up, I was the oldest of five. And my Mom taught me to take care of everyone, especially people who were being left behind.

It’s why I loved being part of a team. And why I loved being a point guard.

It’s why I became a lawyer.

It’s why I joined the Attorney General’s Civil Rights Division in 2007.

It’s why I decided to run for Attorney General, despite never thinking I’d run for office myself.

And it’s why, after eight years as the people’s lawyer, I decided to run for governor.

At every step, I’ve tried to live up to what my Mom taught me: look out for people. Stand up for what’s right. Leave no one behind.
That’s the spirit I bring to this job every single day — and it’s the spirit that drives this campaign. Because the challenges people are facing right now are real. And they deserve a governor who wakes up every morning ready to fight for them.
If you believe in a Massachusetts where everyone has a fair shot, I’m asking you to stand with me. Team, will you make a contribution today to help us keep doing this work, together? Your support truly powers everything we do.
