Beezus here, Shannon Bird’s cat. I need your help to apawlogize to Shannon.

On Caturday, Shannon was hard at work making fundraising calls. I was sleeping nearby on the dining room table. I was having a bad dream that Gabe Evans voted to make massive cuts to Medicaid – but then I realized that wasn’t just a dream, launched straight into the air, and landed on Shannon’s face.

Shannon had to go to urgent care to get stitches. And she lost valuable time to make fundraising calls, so now she is behind her goal.
