Last night America watched as voters in Tennessee’s 7^th Congressional District went to the polls in a Special Election to elect the replacement for Rep. Mark Green.


Are you concerned that the election was so close?


The candidates were Matt Van Epps and Aftyn Behn.


Aftyn Behn made national headlines, in the weeks leading up to the election, for her truly outrageous statements:


* In 2020, she tweeted, “Good morning, especially to the 54% of Americans that believe burning down a police station is justified.”
* Referring to Nashville, she said, “I hate the city, I hate the bachelorettes, I hate the pedal taverns, I hate country music, I hate all of the things that make Nashville apparently an ‘it’ city to the rest of the country. But I hate it.”
* And in response to the Supreme Court upholding Tennessee’s right to ban sex-change operations on minors, Behn described it as a “gut punch” and said the “ruling only emboldens the far-right’s relentless attack on transgender rights.”

Dubbed as the “AOC of Tennessee,” Behn lost last night’s election.


But she only lost by nine percentage points.


By comparison, President Trump won this district by 22 points last year.

To be honest, I’m concerned.

I’m concerned that supporting the gender mutilation of children isn’t immediately disqualifying for a candidate in Nashville, Tennessee.


I’m concerned that New York City just elected a socialist whose policies will turn NYC into a tourist destination for gender mutilation surgeries.


I’m concerned that Gavin Newsom has already done this to California!


The Center for American Liberty represents Chloe Cole and other courageous de-transitioners who were victimized by doctors they should have been able to trust.


Their stories are heartbreaking.


Doctors performed a double mastectomy on Chloe when she was 15 years old.


The left is not backing down on this issue.

They aren’t hiding their support for it.


That is why our litigation on behalf of Chloe Cole, Luka Hein, and others is so important.

If we win these cases, we can score permanent victories that can withstand the swing of the political pendulum.
