Before we enter the busy holiday season and take some much-needed time to unplug, I wanted to reach out with an important update:

The midterm election year officially begins in 29 days — and we need to be ultra-prepared to defeat the Republican opposition. As Chair of the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee, I’m leading the charge to flip key battleground states blue and raise the resources we need to win — but in November, we didn’t quite reach our fundraising goals.

We can’t afford to fall further behind before the election year begins. The GOP will be looking at our fundraising numbers as soon as they go public at the end of the quarter to see if we have the momentum to take back the Senate.

For many folks, now is the time to take it easy and focus on spending time with loved ones. That’s why I’m reaching out before the holiday slump — because we need every grassroots Democrat to chip in what they can to end the year strong.

But Donald Trump’s attacks on our democracy and destruction of our government won’t take a break for the holiday season — and neither can we. Recently, Trump has doubled down on his attacks on our health care and even called for violence against esteemed members of the House and Senate. We can’t allow this to continue.

We must keep up the fight for our majority, reject Trump’s extremism and deliver hope in this season of uncertainty. I believe one of the best ways to do that is by chipping in $10 today:
