In this episode, Chairman Power sits down with Representative Juan Porras. He was first elected to this position in 2022.
Representative Juan Porras represents Florida House District 119 which includes part of Miami-Dade County. Porras began his political journey under then Senator, now Secretary of State, Marco Rubio. While in college at Florida International University in Miami, Representative Porras worked with Charlie Kirk to start the college's first ever Turning Point USA chapter. Porras is in a unique role in the Florida Legislature, as the first elected member of Gen Z. Additionally, he also serves on the Republican Party of Florida's State Executive Committee as the elected State Committeeman for the Miami-Dade REC.
"Representative Porras is a pioneer for Gen Z conservatives, innovative communicator, and a dedicated public servant." said Chairman Power. "This episode we discuss his entry into politics, his legislation regarding HOA transparency, plus his work on becoming an effective communicator in both Spanish and English platforms for both his constituents and younger voters."
