Jen Biddison Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving!

This year I'm grateful to have joined this amazing group of women dedicated to empowering other women to run for political office. And I'm grateful for the hundreds of conservative women who are answering the call to run in 2026. Learn more about our eight newest endorsements below.

As you may be aware, the FEC limits how much each of our supporters can give to Maggie's List and our amazing candidates every year. As we approach the end of the calendar year, please take a moment to max out your 2025 donation ([link removed]) before the calendar resets.

Thank you for your support, and may you and your family have a blessed holiday season!

** Rep. Ashley Hinson
------------------------------------------------------------

During her years as an award-winning reporter, Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-2) ([link removed]) shared the stories of countless Iowans on the local news. She is now running to represent Iowa in the U.S. Senate, where those stories will continue to inform her as she shapes federal policy and improves the lives of workers, farmers, seniors, veterans and families. Maggie's List has enthusiastically endorsed her.

Thank you, Rep. Hinson, for paying it forward for other conservative women by serving as a Maggie's List Congressional Partner!

After government overreach threatened his family's automotive dealership, Representative Mike Kelly ([link removed]) took legal action to save his family business, and then ran for Congress to defend small businesses everywhere.

** MAGGIE'S LIST ANNOUNCES EIGHT MORE ENDORSEMENTS
------------------------------------------------------------
Maggie's List has endorsed eight more women in their 2026 races: four for the U.S. House of Representatives and four for statewide office.

The new House endorsements are Anna Medvedeva ([link removed]) , running for FL-22; Shannon Lundgren ([link removed]) , running for IA-2; Mayra Flores ([link removed]) , running for TX-34; and Tara Durant ([link removed]) , running for VA-7. These four join fourteen previously endorsed House candidates, for a total of eighteen House endorsements so far for 2026.

Maggie’s List has also endorsed four women for statewide office. Three of these are running for governor – Karrin Taylor Robson ([link removed]) in Arizona, incumbent Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders ([link removed]) in Arkansas, and U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik ([link removed]) in New York – and incumbent Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird ([link removed]) is running for re-election.
CONGRESSIONAL ENDORSEMENTS
[link removed]’s List has endorsed Anna Medvedeva ([link removed]) for Florida’s 22nd Congressional District.

“I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of Maggie’s List,” says Medvedeva. “Their steadfast commitment to supporting strong, principled conservative women in public service is unmatched, and I am truly grateful for their confidence in my candidacy for Florida’s 22nd Congressional District. I am inspired by the many outstanding leaders who have earned Maggie’s List’s support before me, and I am ready to follow in their footsteps as we work to bring responsible leadership, fiscal discipline, and a brighter future to our communities. I am thankful for this endorsement and excited for the road ahead.”

“Anna represents all the qualities we look for in a leader,” says Maggie’s List Board Member Anita Mitchell. “She is bright, cares deeply about America, and is forthright and authentic. She holds ‘peace through strength’ and fiscal conservatism as her political mantra. Maggie’s List is delighted to endorse this remarkable woman.”

[link removed]’s List has endorsed Shannon Lundgren ([link removed]) for Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District.

"I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of Maggie’s List as a candidate for U.S. Congress,” says Lundgren. “Following in the footsteps of Margaret ‘Maggie’ Chase Smith, I am inspired by her legacy of principled leadership and commitment to free speech. Maggie’s List embodies the values of fiscal conservatism, limited government, personal responsibility, and strong national security—principles I wholeheartedly champion."

“Shannon Lundgren is a dedicated public servant, business owner and proven leader in the Iowa House,” says Maggie’s List Iowa Chairwoman Gwen Ecklund. “Her insight and experience will make her a great U.S. representative of the 2nd Congressional District. She’s campaigning hard and proving that she has the right stuff for this job and for the people of Iowa.”

[link removed]’s List has endorsed Mayra Flores ([link removed]) in Texas's 34th Congressional District, the third time Maggie’s List has endorsed the former congresswoman.

“I am so proud and honored to be endorsed by Maggie's List, a leading political organization in America dedicated to electing strong conservative women across the nation,” says Flores. “Together we will flip this district, stand up for fiscal sanity, and protect the values that make America great!”

“Mayra Flores is committed to fighting for affordable and accessible healthcare, honoring our veterans and ensuring a strong economy,” says Maggie’s List Texas Co-Chair Susan Narvaiz. “She is a values-driven leader who will make an immediate and positive impact when she returns to Washington.”

[link removed]’s List has endorsed Tara Durant ([link removed]) in Virginia’s 7th Congressional District.

“I am honored to earn Maggie’s List’s endorsement and join the ranks of strong conservative women who lead with conviction, integrity, and results,” says Durant. “I’m running for Congress because I’ve lived the challenges our families face every day — as a mom, a military spouse, an educator, and a conservative who believes government should work for people, not the other way around. In the Virginia Senate and House, I’ve fought for the principles that Maggie’s List champions: fiscal discipline, lower taxes, safer communities, and a government that respects parents and protects opportunity. I’ve stood strong for educational choice, responsible budgeting, and policies that reward work rather than grow bureaucracy. Service is at the heart of everything I do. My connection to the military community keeps me focused on public safety, national security, and the real sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform and their families.”

“Tara Durant represents the core of Maggie’s List: fiscally conservative, solutions-driven, service-minded, and unafraid to lead,” says Maggie’s List Virginia Chairwoman Ashley Abplanalp. “She is a woman who has lived the values she promotes, and she carries them with integrity. Her story reflects the journey many conservative women know well — balancing family, service, and leadership while standing firmly in her values.”

STATEWIDE ENDORSEMENTS
[link removed]’s List has endorsed Karrin Taylor Robson ([link removed]) to be the next governor of Arizona.

“I’m deeply grateful for the endorsement from Maggie’s List,” says Robson. “As a lifelong conservative, business leader, mother, and grandmother, I share their commitment to empowering principled women who are willing to stand up and fight for America’s future. I look forward to working alongside them to make Arizona strong again.”

“It’s an easy decision to support Karrin Taylor Robson for Governor,” says Maggie’s List Arizona Chairwoman Lisa James. “As a respected and accomplished businesswoman and attorney, she has spent her life working to strengthen Arizona. With decades of volunteer public service—including her steadfast support for our military—and a proven dedication to quality education, she brings the experience, integrity, and values our state needs. Karrin consistently does the work and delivers results, the kind of leadership Arizona’s voters deserve.”

[link removed]’s List has endorsed incumbent Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders ([link removed]) for re-election. It also endorsed her for this office in 2022 when she became the first woman to hold the position.

“It is my honor to nominate Sarah Huckabee Sanders for her 2026 re-election as governor to the great State of Arkansas,” says Maggie’s List Arkansas Chairwoman June Wood. “Governor Sanders fights to protect Arkansas values, leads the nation in economic growth and tax cuts, champions our amazing farmers and ranchers, promotes "Made in America," supports military veterans, keeps our border secure, is ranked number one in election integrity, blocks the influence of communist China, and invests in Israel.”

[link removed]’s List has endorsed U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik ([link removed]) in her race for New York governor.

In 2014, Rep. Stefanik had Maggie’s List’s support when she became the youngest woman in history to be elected to the U.S. Congress. Since then she has held numerous leadership positions, including Chairwoman of House Republican Leadership.

"I am grateful that Maggie's List has supported me since I first ran for Congress twelve years ago," says Stefanik. "Under Gov. Hochul's failed leadership, New York has become the most unaffordable state in the nation and a place where crime and chaos are too often seen as the norm. When I am governor, New Yorkers will be safer and have financial freedom."

"Elise Stefanik is the leader New York needs right now”, said Maggie's List New York Co-Chair Chele Farley. "She has demonstrated tremendous tenacity and courage in Congress. Her tough-on-crime and fiscally-responsible policies are just what New York needs to turn the state around. We look forward to having a state that is once again business-friendly and a safe and affordable place to raise a family."

[link removed]’s List has also endorsed Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird ([link removed]) for re-election. It endorsed Bird for her successful run for this position in 2022 as well.

“I’m proud to receive the endorsement of Maggie's List and join their roster of strong, conservative women in public office,” says Bird. “The work Maggie's List does to support and promote female Republican candidates and officeholders is critical to advancing conservative policy. Thank you to the team at Maggie's List for their recognition and the work they do to ensure our Party's success."

“It’s an honor to nominate Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird for Maggie’s List endorsement for re-election,” says Maggie’s List Iowa Chairwoman Gwen Ecklund. “Brenna’s strong work ethic is unmatched and she shows a passion for justice for not only Iowa, but the entire country.”

These eight endorsements bring the number of Maggie’s List 2026 endorsements ([link removed]) to twenty-seven – five U.S. Senate races, eighteen U.S. House races, and four statewide races.

** MAGGIE'S LIST HOSTS SENATOR TED CRUZ & HEIDI CRUZ IN NEW YORK CITY
------------------------------------------------------------
We were delighted to host Senator Ted Cruz and his wife Heidi Cruz for a private luncheon in Midtown Manhattan this fall. Senator Cruz captivated us with his perspectives on rising antisemitism, the government shutdown and the ongoing battles for truth and liberty.

Thank you to Maggie's List New York Co-Chairs Joyce Giuffra and Chele Farley and New Jersey Chair Leora Levy for their help with this event.

If we want to endorse strong female conservative candidates from every state, we need to have Maggie's List state chairwomen in every state.

Currently we are seeing chairs for Rhode Island, Utah, Maine, Idaho and Vermont. We are also looking for additional help in Texas and Wyoming.

Do you know energetic, connected women in any of these states who'd be strong advocates for Maggie's List's mission to see more conservative women elected to federal office? If so, please contact Jen Biddison at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=State%20Chairwoman%20Openings) .
