Minnesota taxpayers have been sending billions of dollars—yes,
BILLIONS—to fraud networks that funnel cash directly to Al-Shabaab,
the Somalia-based terror group.
Acting U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson said the “depth of the fraud in
Minnesota takes my breath away.” And yet, under Governor Tim Walz,
this has gone unchecked.

My name is Kendall Qualls. I wasn’t born into privilege or power. I
was raised in Harlem, New York, in the 1960s; a child of divorce and
one of several siblings living in public housing. Before I reached
middle school, I moved to a trailer park in Oklahoma to live with my
father. Neither of my parents finished high school.
I didn’t take shortcuts. I worked full-time to put myself through
college. I used student loans and paid them back in full. I served as
an officer in the United States Army. I earned an MBA from the
University of Michigan. Then, I spent 30 years leading teams and
driving innovation in the healthcare industry — rising to become
Global Vice President of an $850 million business unit.
Now, I’m running for Governor of Minnesota to make sure that the
principles that lifted me - hard work, faith, family, personal
responsibility, and the free enterprise system - are preserved,
defended, and passed on to the next generation.
