John,
It’s Giving Tuesday! The biggest day of the year for so many charities. The day your inbox fills with emails just like this one.
I read something this past week about how charities are using AI (artificial intelligence) to help with their Giving Tuesday efforts. I’ll be honest with you, I don’t know much about AI, partly because I’m now officially the old dog whom you can’t teach new tricks, but also because I have an aversion to anything “artificial” (sweeteners, flavors, lighting, etc.).
At the end of the day, there’s no such thing as artificial generosity or artificial compassion. The extraordinary generosity and compassion of those of you who care deeply about creating a safer world for children, and give so sacrificially to make that a reality is absolutely authentic and completely human.
Giving Tuesday reminds us that it is humans who in spite of their own individual and collective struggles, hardships, uncertainties and distractions, are at the very core, generous and tenderhearted enough to still care about other humans, especially those who are vulnerable, or who have experienced horrific suffering.
So, as you exercise your humanity today, would you consider a gift which enables Love146 to journey alongside children impacted by trafficking today and prevent the trafficking of children tomorrow? Nothing could be more genuine.
If you’ve already given to this campaign, thank you! If not, we’d be grateful if you’d join in before the day ends. We're at 68% of our fundraising goal with only a few hours left. Donate at [link removed]
Thank you for caring and for being so beautifully human.
