Hi John,
I cast my first ballot in 2017, and in the aftermath of that election, I remember feeling completely lost, unsure of where my voice fit in or whether it carried any real power.
But then, in March of 2018, the March for Our Lives awakened something in me and in my generation. We were taking a stand and demanding a safer future. I saw firsthand that our generation can create change, be the impact, and reshape the world we inherited.
Now, it’s 2025 and the aftermath of the 2024 election has brought its own heavy sense of déjà vu. And I’ve come full circle.
This time, I’m not lost and I’m using my voice every day.
I am working for the very organization that inspired me nearly eight years ago, devoting every day to uplifting young voices and pushing forward the message that they — that we — are powerful and essential in this fight.
Every conversation we spark, every young voter we mobilize, and every story we uplift brings us closer to the future we know is possible.
