John - As you read this, voters in Tennessee are heading to the polls to decide a special election for an open U.S. House of Representatives seat.
At a rally for the Republican candidate yesterday, for once, Donald Trump was right.

People around the nation and across the world are watching. Tennesseans stand now in a position to dictate the next months and year leading up to the midterm elections.
I know that the power is in the South. When I look at the young leaders in Tennessee, I know I am looking at the future of America.
And Republicans know too that we have the power to make a difference here.
Today is one of the last chances voters have to rebuke Trump’s agenda before the midterm elections.
The power is still with the people. And if Democrats are successful in Tennessee, it will show that the GOP’s health care cuts and price hikes are not a winning strategy for the midterms. It will show that we can stand up together and say, “If you do not respond to my needs, I am not voting for you.”
If we come up short, we must not lose hope. We already know we have a lot of work to do to ensure Democrats are successful in 2026 and beyond — and we are not scared of hard work.
Republicans will not stop in their pursuit to maintain power. The fight for House and Senate control in 2026 starts now, and it is going to take all of us working together to reclaim our country.
This is a moment in the history of our country where leadership from the ground matters more than ever. So I am asking you to join me in this fight and make a donation to Fight for the People PAC today to kickstart Democrats’ success next year.

Any amount you can spare will go a long way in ensuring Democrats have the resources they need to win in 2026.
Together,
Kamala Harris
