Team, it’s Giving Tuesday, and I want to bend your ear for a minute about what this season means.
While the holidays are joyful for many, they can also be tough for folks. Some don’t have family or community, some don’t have enough to eat, or clothes to keep warm. Some are working so hard to provide for their families that they can’t take a break, no matter how much they need it.
That’s why for us here at Texas Dems, this season is about showing up for each other.
In that spirit, we wanted to send around some ways for you to get involved and show up in your community this Giving Tuesday:
- Spend a shift at your local foodbank, bring clothes/goods to your local shelter, or drop in and check on your friends and family who you know are struggling.
- Spread the word! Have dinner or invite your friends and family over for a BBQ or bonfire, and talk about the importance of flipping Texas Blue and how it will help each of you.

This is truly a time of service, and it reminds me of why I’m so proud to be a Texas Democrat. And if you want to take that passion one step further, here’s one more thing you can do to show up and fight for Texas families:
- Volunteer with Texas Dems before the upcoming runoff elections (Jan 31) and before early voting starts (on Feb 17) for the 2026 primary.

Show up for your loved ones, y’all. And give your time and love this Giving Tuesday.
Grateful for you,
Kendall
