Dear John,

This year's Giving Tuesday comes at a critical moment for protecting domestic workers' safety and security, so we're going to get right to the point: can you chip in right now to fuel our work to protect domestic workers across the country? [[link removed]]

Right now, domestic workers across the country are under attack because of who we are are and what we do: we are women—mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. Our job protections have been gutted, our families and communities are being ripped apart, Medicaid and the rest of our social safety net are being slashed, and our basic rights are under threat.

It's easy to feel overwhelmed. But every single day, NDWA is fighting to minimize the harm done to our communities. Now is not the time to sit on the sidelines. Now is the time to stand with each other, shoulder to shoulder.

We've set a goal of raising $20,000 by midnight tonight, and a generous donor has agreed to march all donations up to $10,000. Chip in to help us hit our Giving Tuesday Goal >> [[link removed]]

Here is the work you'll be supporting:

* Ensure the immigrant workers in our communities know their rights as unprecedented enforcement actions sweep through cities and neighborhoods across the country.
* Protect our health care from even more cruel cuts and hold those responsible for the largest cuts to Medicaid in history to account for the harm they've caused our communities.
* Expand our organizing and power building efforts for Black, immigrant, and women of color domestic workers (because we know that organizing is the foundation of all our work to defend and protect the rights of domestic and care workers).

Hope is not lost amongst our community even as we feel the profound challenges that 2025 has thrown at us. So, this Giving Tuesday, give generously. It's the most valuable thing you can do for domestic workers. Every dollar you donate will be DOUBLED today only, thanks fo a matching contribution up to $10,000, so please don't hold back. [[link removed]] It's been an incredibly challenging 2025 and we know that enormous challenges continue to lie ahead, but every bit of your support will make a powerful difference.

Generations of domestic and care workers have paved the path we follow. Their legacy of care has taught us how to hold each other up and press forward with the strength that generations of resiliences have instilled in us.

This Giving Tuesday, as every day, thank you for all you do.
