Today, Jabokie is a U.S. citizen, a husband, an educator, and a salon owner — but he sees his salon as much more than a business. It’s a community hub where LGBTQ people can show up fully and be treated with respect. He built the space he once needed himself, and he pours 100 percent of his love for his craft into every person who walks through the door.
This Giving Tuesday, our community is coming together to raise $20,000 by midnight to provide safety and freedom for those who have been denied both.
