Giving Tuesday is here! Each year, the Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday is dedicated to celebrating and inspiring generosity around the world.
Launched in 2012 as a way to counter holiday consumerism with acts of giving ([link removed]) , Giving Tuesday became an independent organization in 2019 and has since grown into a global movement. Today, alongside organizations around the world, we’re encouraging our members to give back to a cause or organization like NVBA that reflects their values and goals.
Here’s how your donation this Giving Tuesday can support NVBA’s mission:
* $25: Provides two months of birdseed at a Stretch Our Parks ([link removed]) feeding station.
* $50: Covers printing costs for Spanish-language bird identification guides to welcome new bilingual birders.
* $150: Provides a complete Bird Guide Toolkit: including English and Spanish field guides, a first aid kit, an NVBA nametag and hat, and other event materials.
* $500: Funds presenter fees for virtual and in-person programs, expanding our ability to offer free education programs.
* Priceless: Volunteer with NVBA! Whether you’re passionate about advocacy, conservation, or just plain birding, we have a place for you. Interested? Reach out to our Community Engagement Coordinator, McKenzie, at
[email protected] (mailto:

You can also support NVBA through a monthly sustaining gift or by including NVBA in your will or living trust. More information about these options is available on our donation page ([link removed]) .
