Fellow activist,
Since our founding in 2021, NPP’s impact in our centered communities has inspired hope and driven us to continue building a more representative democracy that works for all Pennsylvanians.
From Pennsylvania voters retaining statewide justices and judges on our appellate courts to voter turnout numbers breaking historical records, 2025 proved once again what’s possible when we invest in year-round voter engagement and civic education.
This year, the New Pennsylvania Project led the way in civic education focused on the state judiciary, and launched a brand new podcast that expanded our digital reach. Pennsylvanians voted with clarity and intention and filled all of us with hope for the future.
This is just the beginning.
This Giving Tuesday, will you chip in $25 or more in support of our mission today? Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference.

This is our belief: As long as we have the vote, we have hope. We continue to build a democracy that reflects all of us.
That belief is what propelled us to knock on more than 15,000 doors in the two weeks leading up to Election Day, sent staff to more than 20 precincts across the Commonwealth as poll greeters on Election Day, ran a full-page print advertisement in the Sunday edition of the Philadelphia Inquirer, and more.
And it paid off: Voter turnout across Pennsylvania in this year’s local, municipal, and judicial elections was remarkable! Statewide turnout was about 41% and early numbers show that in many of the counties where our team was out knocking doors and engaging directly with voters, turnout numbers surged to historical levels compared to previous similar elections.
With your support, we have and will continue to work to move our democracy forward. Including through year-round voter engagement, accessible civic education, and the expansion of digital platforms like Slingshot the Podcast that reach our centered communities.
Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 with a simple idea: a day to encourage people to do good. Millions join the call every year to provide and celebrate generosity. Today, we hope you will consider supporting the New Pennsylvania Project. Will you help us turn hope into action by donating $25 now? ([link removed]
Thank you for your continued support and for helping us hit our GivingTuesday fundraising goal!
Onward,
New Pennsylvania Project

The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is a voting rights organization with a year-round primary focus on voter registration, civic education, and mobilization. NPP centers historically disenfranchised and often neglected Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth in our work. Through civic engagement, we ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth.
