• People are being deceived by American Kennel Club misinformation, an organization that claims to care deeply about dogs but the reality couldn’t be farther from the truth. Like a recent rescue by Humane World for Animals’ Animal Rescue Team of 100 dogs from a Maryland breeding facility certified by the AKC. Many were malnourished, suffering from painful abscesses and in need of urgent dental surgeries. The situation in puppy mills is dire, yet lifesaving legislation is being actively opposed by the AKC.
