Today is Giving Tuesday, and as we launch our year-end campaign, I want to share the heart behind it and why your support matters so deeply right now.

 

At our Gala on November 1, we introduced A Dozen Reasons Why — twelve powerful reminders of why we show up for grieving families and why this community is needed more than ever. Beginning this week, we'll be sharing those twelve reasons across our social channels. I welcome you to follow along, reflect, and share the ones that resonate with your family. Your voice helps hope reach the people who need it most.

 

To put it simply: the need remains undeniable.

1 in 4 pregnancies ends in miscarriage. 1 in 160 ends in stillbirth. Another 21,000 infants die within their first year — and behind every number is a family forever changed.

 

This year we've served 1,500 families across 43 states, opened our third birthing + bereavement suite, and facilitated more than 100 support groups and 14 community programs. But despite 21% year-over-year growth, the need is outpacing our funding, and we are facing an $85,000 gap we must close by December 31 to sustain programming in 2026.
