This year pushed our community to the edge. The war that NIAC has worked for years to prevent was finally launched, killing hundreds of innocent Iranians and setting the stage for further violence. Masked ICE agents targeted our community, detaining and deporting loved ones, students, and asylum seekers.. And for months, our elected officials listened to AIPAC instead of the millions of Americans demanding they stop supporting a genocide.
Yet instead of accepting defeat, something remarkable happened.
Thousands of NIAC members like yourself organized nationwide anti-war rallies, sent thousands of messages to Congress, joined emergency briefings, and forced policymakers to confront the human cost of war on Iran and genocide in Gaza. When ICE began detaining Iranians in airports and neighborhoods, you empowered NIAC to file litigation and demand transparency. When disinformation campaigns targeted our community, you helped expose the war lobby and defend our right to think, speak, and dissent.
This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking you to help sustain this critical work and build momentum into 2026.
