John, Giving Tuesday is here, and on this global day of generosity, we’re asking you to consider supporting our member groups that are key partners in accomplishing our legislative priorities and building a better Alabama.
It’s not that we don’t want your gifts. Please donate to Arise at any time! But we also believe in the power of collective action. When our member groups are strong, we are all stronger.
So this Giving Tuesday, we hope you will consider a gift to one or more of our member groups whose mission aligns with your values. Each group is listed below under the legislative priority that we partner with them closest on, but you can check out their websites to learn about all of the great work they do for our state and communities.
Health equity: Everyone should have access to the health care they need.
Hunger relief: Nobody should have to choose between having food, housing or medical care.
Adequate state budgets: Alabamians need more affordable housing and public transportation.
Inclusive democracy: We’re working to protect a multiracial democracy and achieve racial equity.
Justice reform: All Alabamians deserve equal justice under the law.
Worker power: A strong labor movement provides dignity for workers.
