I’ve learned something heartbreaking over the years: child trafficking often begins long before a trafficker ever appears.
It begins in homes where fear and violence take root, where children learn to stay quiet, to hide, to obey. That’s what makes them vulnerable. And traffickers know it.
They look for the child who already believes they don’t deserve safety. They use the same tools abusers use, control, manipulation, and fear, to turn the pain of children into profit.
This is why this Domestic Violence Awareness Month matters to our mission at the Sound of Freedom Foundation.
If we fail, more children will slip through the cracks, trapped between abuse at home and exploitation beyond it.
But if we succeed with the help of your gift, first responders will spot trafficking early, survivors will be rescued, and vulnerable will find hope again.
But none of it happens without you.
You are the bridge between despair and deliverance. You are the reason we can train another officer, save another child, and shut down another trafficker.
Let’s make sure no child’s pain becomes a trafficker’s opportunity.
